Revamp of Victoria Station’s Grosvenor Hotel

Victoria is a destination I have visited on too numerous occasions to even count. However, I never thought of going into the hotel attached to the station, partly because it looked so grotty from the outside. That changed with an invite to see their ‘Courtesan’s Boudoir’. The Grade 11-listed building has had a total make-over both inside and out by Guoman Hotels, the up-market brand of Thistle Hotels.

London’s oldest railway hotel has been restored to its Victorian splendour with the original white marble pillars in the lobby enhanced by a beautiful sparkling chandelier. The 346 bedroom four-star deluxe hotel has stylish modern bedrooms which includes a Parisian-inspired suite created in homage of one of its most scandalous visitors. The rococo-themed suite makes an ideal bridal or particularly romantic place to stay.

The hotel’s bar on the first floor is buzzing and a stylish place to meet friends if in the area.
