Tally Koren inspires Peace in the Middle East

I was pleased to be a guest at a concert of Music for Peace in the Middle East in Notting Hill. Organised by Israeli singer Tally Koren, the purpose of the evening was to encourage friendship between Israel and Palestine.
Particularly inspiring was the song ‘Two Kisses’ written by my friend Joel Rockman, which Tally sang to unite the two nations. Artists appearing included Palestinian singer and amazing oud (Arabic lute) player, Nizar Al Issa who inspired us with his music, as well as a host of talented artists.
The concert under the auspices of the Universal Peace Federation was a fundraiser for UK Friends of the Bereaved Families Forum. Members are working to build a framework for peace and reconciliation in the Middle East.
